Welcome to the website of The Rose Society of Victoria Inc. Our Society, founded in 1899, is dedicated to the cultivation, promotion and enjoyment of all types of roses, from the classic hybrid tea of show bench perfection, the heritage roses of yesteryear, through the enormous range of floribundas and shrub roses to the smallest miniature and patio types.  We love and grow all types of roses.  

 

Our Society is a non-profit organisation who comprises approximately 900 members. Most members of our Society are home gardeners like you who enjoy growing roses and want to expand their knowledge of rose culture and learn to utilise the many different types of roses available today.

 

 

TREASURER – CASUAL POSITION AVAILABLE

THE ROSE SOCIETY OF VICTORIA INC.

 

The Rose Society is looking to fill the position of Treasurer.  The successful applicant would be required to keep the books of account and pay the accounts of the Society.  Attendance at monthly Committee of Management meetings, held at Glen Iris, is also required.  This position would ideally suit a retired Accountant / Bookkeeper.  Quarterly allowance payable.  Location - Melbourne.  Immediate start.
