Welcome to the
website of The Rose Society of Victoria Inc. Our Society, founded
in 1899, is dedicated to the cultivation, promotion and enjoyment
of all types of roses, from the classic hybrid tea of show bench
perfection, the heritage roses of yesteryear, through the enormous
range of floribundas and shrub roses to the smallest miniature and
patio types. We love and grow all types of roses.
Our Society is
a non-profit organisation who comprises approximately 900 members.
Most members of our Society are home gardeners like you who enjoy
growing roses and want to expand their knowledge of rose culture
and learn to utilise the many different types of roses available
today.
