After many years of vivid blue bench cloths, the transition to dark cloths has been made, to match the elegant architectural upgrade of the venue. The room is now a sleek gallery/museum-like exhibition space with dark walls that recede into inconspicuousness (but thankfully a very soft accoustic; no clattering, echoing noisiness! – be at ease, fellow coalmine canaries…).
All this has the welcome effect of causing the bright and vivid hues of the roses to be highlighted beautifully and enhancing the pleasantness of sharing conversation and enjoyment with friends.
A little retouching has got rid of fire extinguishers, blue strip dividers and other distractions.
The hues of the roses are exactly as photographed.
